Liverpool attacker, Sadio Mane, was swamped at a Manchester mosque by excited fans as the Senegalese star went to pray.
Fans who recognised the Red star did not bother on rivalry but were happy and posed for photos with the Liverpool ace.
A deeply religious Mane performs the du’a before the start of matches. He prays five times a day and never drinks alcohol.
Liverpool’s training ground Melwood even had a prayer room built specifically for the Senegalese international as the Reds helped him settle at the club following his transfer from Southampton in 2016. That room is now also being used by fellow Muslim Mo Salah.
Mane made the visit to the mosque in Manchester, and despite the historic rivalry between Manchester United and Liverpool still found himself surrounded by well-wishers and people desperate to get a photo.
The Senegal star forward has been in fine form for his side this year, contributing 19 goals, nine of which came in the Champions League as Liverpool marched to the final.
And CR7 admitted Real respect Liverpool and will not take them lightly.
The former Manchester United man is looking to win the Champions League for an incredible fifth time.
